This project started by combining a cookie cutter and a packet of toothpicks. The properties of both objects were explored to create a new hybrid product. A giant toothpick was created to form the legs of the tables by altering the object’s scale. The legs could be opened using a bolted mechanism to create a stable tripod. The cookie cutter, a mass multiplication device, was used to inform the drilling of three holes into any flat surface using a stencil and slotting in a set of legs to finish it.
