Ieuan, pronounced [yay-an], is a digital designer from South Wales, based in London, with a focus on design for motion, storytelling, and interaction.

Ieuan’s passion lies at the intersection of design, technology, and storytelling, spanning a range of design fields such as logo, branding/identity, UI, graphic prop design, print, and digital editorial. He also explores his curiosity for real, tangible objects, and characters in “The Workshop”.

Ieuan graduated with a first-class degree in graphic design from Kingston School of Art, London, and was selected for the prestigious Creative Review Graduate Watch Programme in 2018. His co-directed short film “Uki” was screened at the BFI Southbank and aired on BBC Four as part of the BFI and BBC’s Animation 2018 programme.

After working at BBC Creative, he joined Nexus Studios in 2019, where he assisted their award-winning directors and creative directors in pitching to major clients such as Netflix, Disney, Coca-Cola, Google, and Meta.

Shortly after, he joined the Experience Design team with a focus on digital design for experiences within the XR space. Additionally, he collaborated across Nexus’s diverse department pillars, working closely with the studio team to create graphic props and title designs for film-based content.

He worked on projects for notable clients such as DreamWorks, NBC Universal, Apple, Gorillaz, MLB, Kraft, EE, Headspace, Coke, Meta, NBA & WNBA, UNICEF, BBC R&D, as well as on original IP.

In addition to working on projects, he managed a junior design team, responding to internal and external design requests.

In 2024, Ieuan joined Art & Graft’s creative studio team as a designer.

His work has been featured in publications and keynotes such as Apple’s WWDC 2024, It’s Nice That, Creative Review, Design Week, Lecture in Progress, Booooooom, Skwigly, 36 Days of Type, and The Guardian.
